Other Sports

In conjunction with the main sporting activities available at King Henry's VIII School, many other sports are available for the pupils.

These are many and varied and include Swimming and other Watersports, Gymnastics, Squash, Rounders, Volleyball and Skiing to name just a few.

Swimming

At present swimming does not form a significant part of the curriculum, but from January 2009 it will be introduced into the PE/Games programme.  Nevertheless, a number of pupils have competed to a high standard, including international competitions.



Zak Jelley swam at the International Childrens’ Games in Coventry and Bangkok and took part in trials for the 2007 Games in Reykjavik, Iceland.
