Charities

King Henry VIII School has had a busy year of fundraising for a variety of charities. You can use this link Charity Summary to see a summary of what has been raised so far this academic year (2009-2010).

The new school year has started well.  Year 7 pupils took part in a sponsored skip for the British Heart Foundation.  Some of the money has not yet been collected in, but the amount raised so far is encouraging.

Operation Christmas Child, organised by Samaritan's Purse, was supported by students throughout the school.  An impressive number of shoe boxes were filled and sent overseas to children living in poverty.
