The Entrance Examination for pupils wishing to enter the school at Years 7, 8 and 9 in September 2010 took place on Tuesday, 5th January 2010. Parents of pupils who did not take the exam but hope to enter this year should telephone the school as soon as possible.

The closing date for these applications is Friday, 3rd December 2010. The closing date for submission of Bursary forms relating to these candidates is Tuesday, 7th December 2010.
An Open Morning for parents and prospective pupils who are currently in Year 5 and are considering entry in 2011 will take place on the morning of Saturday, 3rd July 2010 from 9.30 am until 12 noon. No appointment is necessary.
An Open Evening will be held on Friday 8th October from 6.00 until 8.30 pm followed by an Open Morning on Saturday 9th October from 9.30 am until 12.30 pm. The school will be open to visitors who are invited to see a wide range of displays, experiments, performances and presentations. Our students will be in school on both occasions, eager to answer questions and to act as guides. These lively occasions provide an ideal opportunity for prospective pupils to meet students and to talk to them about their school. The Headmaster will give a short talk during both sessions.
Parents and prospective pupils are always welcome to visit the school and meet the Headmaster, staff and students by appointment, at any time during the school year. Please telephone the Headmaster’s Personal Assistant, Mrs Amanda Skinner, on 024 7627 1111.
Taster Days - These can be arranged at any time, but generally take place between October half term and May. Please telephone Mrs. Skinner, the Headmaster's PA, who will make arrangements for the relevant Head of Year to organise your Taster Day.
