Parents’ Association
Aims and activities
King Henry VIII School Parents’ Association is open to all parents of children at the school. Members work with the school to support school events.
The PA also organises its own events for fundraising, such as the Christmas Fair, uniform sales, Fireworks Night etc. Last year, the Christmas Fair raised in excess of £7,000. Funds raised are spent on items benefiting the school, which might not otherwise be purchased by the school. These have included new pianos, design and technology equipment, playground equipment and sports equipment. For a full list of awards made last year please see the link below.
The PA is NOT all about raising money. Through our events and meetings, we would like to bring together the community of parents within the whole school. The PA is a great medium for forming friendships and networking with other parents.
Association meetings are usually held in the Senior/Hales dining room and new members are always welcome. The dates are published in the Senior School & Prep calendar. Alternatively, please contact the committee at any time with any queries, suggestions or ideas.
