As one of the leading independent schools in the area, working at King Henry VIII is thoroughly rewarding and we welcome job applications for both Teaching and Support Staff roles from appropriately qualified, talented and inspiring people.

If we currently have no vacancies, we always welcome speculative enquiries by post and email: info@khviii.net.  All such communications should be marked for the attention of the Headmaster, Mr Slack, at the Senior School.

Current vacancies are listed below, together with Application Forms for Teaching and Non-Teaching roles. All candidates should use the school's application form and refer to the notes about the recruitment process. Application by CV only will not be accepted.

General Office Assistant

We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced General Office Assistant to support the work of the existing Admin Team.  The main duties are to organise all school events and bookings, coordinating with staff and external organisations, as well as providing general administrative support.  This is a permanent, full-time post, 9.30am to 5.30pm, 35 hours per week, term-time only plus 2 weeks during the summer holiday.

Data Manager

We are looking for a  Data Manager with the responsibility and overall management of pupil data and analysis of data across the Senior School.  The successful candidate will have 2-3 years of in depth experience of data structure, analysis and using Microsoft Office Suite.

This is a permanent, part-time post, 22.5 hours per week, term-time only plus 2 weeks during the summer holiday.  Hours within the working week are negotiable.
