Community Links

The school is proud of its links with the local community and we are always keen to develop these links further.

Current activities at the school include:

  • A Summer Activities Programme which welcomes children from all local schools during the summer holidays. For further details, follow the Sports Centre links on the right of this page.

  • Hundreds of local primary school pupils receiving swimming lessons from our swimming coaches each year.

  • Around 300 primary pupils joining us for our annual Primary Schools Choral and Orchestral Day or our Year 5 Olympics Day.

  • Sponsorship of the Earlsdon Festival, Friends of Coventry Cathedral, Kenilworth Cricket Club, Two Castles Run and other local causes.

  • Sports facilities such as our pool, fitness suite, double astroturf pitches and sports hall are regularly let to outside user groups.

  • Heritage Open Days each September allow local residents to explore the history of the school and importance of the school and its pupils in the story of Coventry.

Anyone who wishes to explore links with the school’s sports facilities should get in touch with the Sports Centre Manager, Mr Neil Beckett, via the Sports Centre.

More general Community Outreach enquiries should be addressed to Mr Philip Dearden, Deputy Head via the Reception phone number: 024 7627 1111 or via email:
