Welcome to King Henry VIII School
Firstly, I am delighted that you have made time to visit our website. We hope that it is informative and provides a helpful insight into life at King Henry's.
King Henry's is a very special community and the current school serves the needs of over 1300 pupils between the ages of 3 and 18. We are forward-looking and aim to provide the best possible opportunities and education. We want to equip our pupils with the qualities which they will need when they enter the next phase of their lives; we also want them to be happy here.
Parents, both of current and of former pupils, and former pupils themselves are important contributors to our continuing success and so the website includes sections which are specifically designed for their use.
Please enjoy this insight into King Henry's and keep in touch with developments here.

School celebrates unique contribution of Jeff Vent
On Saturday 6th February, the School Hall was packed with over 200 current and former students and staff. They gathered to pay tribute to a fantastic contribution over a 60 year period by JBV.
After an excellent meal, tributes were paid by former students, many of whom had travelled from overseas especially for the occasion. JBV himself then entertained everybody with a typically amusing and entertaining series of recollections and anecdotes.
Presentations were made to a number of guests, including awards to the youngest, the oldest and the person who had travelled the furthest for the occasion.
